Auto Reset Chips

These chips make life easy. They allow you to use chip-free compatible ink cartridges and you can just move these chips from cart to cart with a little double stick tape. Each time you remove them from the printer and put them back in, they will reset themselves.

       
We have limited stock of RKS Auto Reset Chips available. These are the cadillac chips. They can be mixed with any chips and any cartridges. The only issue with these chips is that you need to be careful handling them, so that you do not accidentally blow them with an electro static discharge. So if you get these, it is best for you to permanently attach them to a refillable ink cartridge.

Resetting chip cartridges is no longer necessary, RKS has made this process fully automated, simply print, print, print. It's as simple as that:

• Attach the RKS-Auto-Reset-Chips to the compatible cartridge at the position of the original chip and then insert the cartridge into the printer and you're ready to print.
• The ink control monitor works exactly as it does with original Canon cartridges..
• When the cartridge is empty, the printer notifies you and stops printing.
• Take out the cartridge, and start the process all over again.
  If you are using refillable cartridges, refill the cartridge without moving the chip.
  If you are using chip extenders, leave the chip extender with the chip in the printer, and simply replace the compatible cartridge.

NOTE: Because these chips can be damaged through Electro Static Discharge, we do not warranty them. So please read all the instructions that come with your chips before taking them out of their anti static packaging. Find out more about grounding and ESD HERE.
